Personal Training
initial evaluation $100 (~2 houRS)
Individual Training $85/ per hour
Partner training $50 per person/ per hour
Our work together begins with an overall assessment of where you are starting. Robin will do a body fat composition test and measurements (this is optional), and a basic evaluation of your posture, strength, and flexibility. During this first visit, she will introduce you to how the sessions are formatted. Her goal is that you will understand what to expect, and will have the ability to create your own workout, if the opportunity presents itself.
IMPORTANT: When partner training, it is recommended that each individual have a separate initial evaluation and a few individual training sessions before combining together for partner training. This will allow Robin to focus on your posture and specific needs without having to neglect your partner, and vise versa.
CARDIO: There are three cardio pieces of equipment; a treadmill, a step mill, and an elliptical trainer. If you would like to show up early to your scheduled appointment to warm up or do extra cardio, all you need to do is text Robin and she’ll let you in!
MUSIC: There is a Bluetooth speaker that you are free to use during your scheduled appointment. If you don’t have a preference, Robin will pick music from a variety of music apps and resources. But…you might have to listen to smooth jazz, or Ice Cube, or some other horrible genre of music. You and Robin can work together to find what works for you.
WARNING: Our gym is a NOT a cuss-free zone. If you’re easily offended by foul language, this facility might not be for you.
Stretch Training
INdividual Stretch Session $35/per half hour
If you individually train with Robin, you will typically have a 5-10 minute stretch session at the end of your hour. However, if you’d like to schedule for stretching only, that’s an option too.
For many people, stretching is very difficult due to a variety of reasons. You might have an injury (like a bulging disc), hip or knee replacements, or are simply too tight to stretch without assistance. Some people schedule stretch-training sessions to destress, relax, and feel better.
Here are some examples of when these sessions might be appropriate:
The day after a training session, to ease soreness or tension.
When you’ve been sitting (or standing) for long periods of time and need to relieve pain or tension.
When you’re experiencing emotional stress that promotes neck or back stiffness.
Whatever the reason, passive stretching can be incredibly therapeutic for both the mind and body.
"I can honestly say, Robin has changed my life. I didn’t realize there was a different way to see things, or an alternative way to experience life. I am so lucky to have found Robin and would recommend her to anyone.”
